The LASFAA Fall Conference Site Committee has selected the historic Hilton Capitol Center to host our Annual Fall Conference! The Hilton Capitol Center once again stands proud as it did when it was originally constructed in 1927 and called home by Huey Long. The historic Heidelberg and Capitol House Hotel have been fully restored to their former state of grandeur with over $70 million in renovations. Overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River and located in picturesque downtown Baton Rouge, the hotel is adjacent to the Shaw Center and the River Center Convention Center. The hotel has been named to many top 25 lists of historic hotels in America!

The LASFAA group rate for the hotel is $110 per night (before taxes and fees). To book your stay using the group rate, please use the link below:

Health and Safety: For those who wish to attend the conference, your health, safety, and wellbeing are of paramount importance. As such, every precaution will be taken to ensure the conference can be hosted in a safe manner by utilizing various recommended best practices such as social distancing, sanitization, and more. That being said, the facilitation and success of this event will also hinge on the consideration and commitment of all attendees to the adherence to all published CDC, hotel, and conference safety guidelines. Through your commitment, we can provide an enriching and fun experience while simultaneously protecting each other and those we hold most dear.

Lastly, a very important note: Due to the conference beginning on November 5 (Election Day), we want to encourage all attendees to consider early voting. Your voice matters, so we want to encourage you to vote, vote, vote!
